| Lawyers Action seeks to support the independence of the judiciary and to help promote the value of the legal profession to all Floridians. Composed entirely of lawyers throughout Florida, our members represent the full spectrum of legal practice including real estate, probate, family, corporate, admiralty and criminal law, among others. We believe the cornerstone of our democracy is an independent judiciary that is free from political pressure and able to guarantee every citizen, regardless of race or economic conditions, a fair and impartial hearing to address individual grievances.
We also believe it is essential that lawyers in Florida are regulated in a professional manner and disciplined aggressively, and we oppose any unnecessary or burdensome restrictions on the ability of an attorney to fairly represent a client.
